Gamezop raises $4.3m in Series A financing

Funding round led by Bitkraft Ventures to be used toward Southeast Asian, Latin American expansion

Hypercasual gaming platform Gamezop has raised $4.3 million in Series A financing, in a round led by Bitkraft Ventures.

Other participants in the round included Velo Partners, FJ Labs, and Survam Partners.

Early and mid-stage esports investor Bitkraft has invested in a wide swath of companies of late, including Playable Worlds, Bit Fry, PlayBrain, and numerous others.

Gamezop is an India-based company founded in 2016, which licenses HTML5 games and embeds them in other apps, including Firefox, India Today, and Samsung My Galaxy. It also includes a competitive format that allows users to win prizes.

With this investment, Gamezop intends to expand into Southeast Asia and Latin America, as well as add more game formats to its platform.
