GAMETAP TV KICKS OFF FALL SEASON WITH NEW MUSIC, MOVIE, ANIMATION AND VIDEO GAME PROGRAMMING

(TBS, Inc.), announced highlights from its GameTap TV Fall season of programming, spanning music, movies, animation and video games. Here are some Fall programming highlights from GameTap's most popular series:

Artist of the Month (AOTM): This campaign devotes a month of exclusive and original programming to popular artists and encompasses live performances, music videos, top ten lists, interviews, and more. Artists as diverse as Fall Out Boy, Akon, My Chemical Romance, and Mastodon have been previously featured with upcoming fall shows featuring Rob Zombie, Interpol and Coheed & Cambria. Beyond the collective AOTM campaign, some of the fall music shows have featured segments culled from Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo 2007, including interviews with Perry Farrell, The Decemberists, and The National.

GameTap News: This award-winning weekly news program showcases everything you need to know about what's happening in the games industry. The show features interviews and coverage of top industry events, such as E3, Comic-Con, Tokyo Games Show, and more. GameTap News is a great way for gamers to keep up with the latest industry buzz.

Plug and Play: Tune in to this show for daily previews of the hottest trends and news in entertainment. Recent episodes featured exclusive interviews with the cast of SuperBad and the director of King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters.

ReVisioned: For its premiere season, GameTap enlisted the animation and comic book industry's hippest talent to create an animated series based around Tomb Raider's Lara Croft. For Season Two, GameTap brings to life a host of characters spanning some of the most enduring games of all time.

The Hitman retrospective airs in conjunction with the November theatrical release of Hitman, starring Timothy Oliphant as Agent 47. Fans will able to play the first three Hitman games for free at GameTap.com, with the latest Hitman game available to Gold level subscribers. Also coming in November is a new documentary on the popular SEGA Nights franchise.
