Over 100 gaming premieres promised, including PES 10, FIFA 10, Tony Hawk: RIDE, Forza 3, Guitar Hero 5, DJ Hero, Band Hero...

The excitement is increasing from day to day - in just a few days gamescom, Europe's new trade fair highlight of the games industry, will be celebrating its premiere. The construction work on the trade fair grounds in Cologne is already underway. A genuine firework display of new computer and video games are awaiting fans and friends of interactive entertainment at gamescom. The exhibitors are presenting product novelties in almost all genres, from infotainment and edutainment games to casual games, sports and music games, to action and adventure games. Video and PC games, as well as online, browser and mobile games await visitors with premieres and new introductions. More than 100 games, including numerous world, European and German premieres can be expected. While many exhibitors are keeping their publications secret until the trade fair opens, others have already published their line-ups.

Sports enthusiasts can already look forward to premieres that will include Pro Evolution Soccer 10 (Konami), FIFA 10 (E.A.), Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (E.A.) and Tony Hawk Ride (Activision). Need for Speed Nitro (E.A.) and Forza Motorsport 3 (Microsoft) will provide that extra surge of adrenaline for racing fans.

Musically speaking, Guitar Hero 5, DJ Hero, Band Hero (all Activision), The Beatles Rock Band (E.A.), LIPS - No. 1 Hits (Microsoft) and Just sing (dtp young entertainment) will raise pulses with their terrific sound.

Games such as GZSZ Flirt und Karriere (Intenium), Sudoku Ball Detective (WhiteBear Studios), Play the World, Der Schatz der Delfine and Prinzessin Lillifee neuen Spielspaß (all Tivola Publishing) will be offered to families and children. Premieres and new introductions from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (Konami) and Batman: Arkham Asylum (Eidos) await action and adventure fans.

Particularly in the main theme of online, browser and mobile games, the European games community can already look forward to the team of global players from Germany and the world. Besides leading companies such as gameforge and Bigpoint, many other companies from Germany, Europe and South Korea will be presenting the entire range, along with current blockbusters such as World of Warcraft including "Celebrities".

Last but not least, infotainment and edutainment feature large: Lernerfolg Grundschule (Tivola Publishing), Spanisch Buddy, PONS Vokabel Buddy Englisch und Französisch, Mathe Trainer (all Braingame Publishing) and Knigge (RTL Games) await visitors.
