GAMESbrief signing

Industry blog joins TIGA.

GAMESbrief helps games developers to become publishers. The core service is www.gamesbrief.com, a highly respected blog about the business of games written by industry commentator Nicholas Lovell. The blog helps games developers and publishers understand the changing market and the impact of new technology and learn how to build audiences and revenues in a networked world. GAMESbrief also provides strategic and operational advice to companies including Atari, Channel 4, Firefly, nDreams and Rebellion.

Nicholas Lovell explains his reasons for joining TIGA:

“I am extremely passionate about the opportunities that exist for games developers to move into publishing and want to work closely with TIGA and its members in this area. I believe TIGA has an essential role to play in promoting UK games developers to the global market, politicians and key stakeholders. I fully support TIGA’s ambition to make the UK the best place to do games business.”

Richard Wilson CEO at TIGA adds:

“GAMESbrief is extremely popular and highly respected by TIGA members. We hope to work closely with Nicholas and GAMESbrief to ensure TIGA members can benefit as much as possible from his expertise and experience.”

Nicholas Lovell is speaking at TIGA’s ‘Making Self-Publishing Work For You’ event taking place at Weightmans LLP in central Manchester on 24 March 2010. For more information visit http://www.tiga.org/News/Making-Self-Publishing-Work-for-You.aspx.
