Della Rocca and Edery to keynote GameON: Finance 2.0
Director of IGDA and Microsoft's XBLA portfolio planner to discuss videogame business in Ontario, Canada
Interactive Ontario, the organiser of GameON: Finance 2.0, has announced a number of key speakers for the event, taking place over October 28 - 29 in Toronto, Canada.
Jason Della Rocca, the executive director of IGDA and David Edery, Microsoft's XBLA portfolio planner, will keynote the two-day event, focusing on the environment and mechanisms for funding videogame businesses and projects in Ontario.
Also speaking at the event will be Rick Segal of JLA Ventures, Marc Jackson, managing partner of Video Game Finance, and Aver Media's loan officer, Jenna Seguin. They are joined by Steve Bocska, President from Pug Pharm Productions and Bob Shoniker, president of Courage Capital.
Other discussions and presentations set to take place at the event will be on: videogames' effect on the business world, creating revenue, comparing strategies, the benefits of licensed or original IP, developing for mobiles and investment strategies for Ontario.
