Gameloft releases Lost game for iPod

Now available via iTunes

Mobile games developer and publisher Gameloft has turned its attention to the Apple iPod with the release of a new title based on hit TV show Lost.

The game is available via iTunes, priced at USD 4.99 / GBP 3.99, and is designed to work on fifth generation iPods.

Playing as Jack, gamers get to interact with other characters from the series such as Kate and Locke. Locations to explore include the beach, the jungle, the hatch and black rock, and scenes featured include the plane crash and the meeting with the others. The storyline has been developed by the writers behind the TV show.

"We think iPod owners are going to love being able to play Lost on the iPod," said Gameloft president Michel Guillemot.

"Lost has a huge following and we're excited to have developed this game which is a perfect complement to the show."
