GameHorizon Conference 2010

Teaming up with UKIE on their Best of British networking event.

GameHorizon are delighted to announce that UKIE will be partnering with them on their Best of British event this December.

Best of British (BOB) is an annual networking event designed to celebrate the best that the British games industry has to offer. Now in its second year, BOB will be brought to you by business support network GameHorizon and held in London’s Tiger Tiger in Haymarket on Thursday 2 nd December.

The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment (UKIE), formerly known as ELSPA, is the UK’s leading videogames trade body for the wider interactive entertainment industry, making them the perfect partner for GameHorizon’s Best of British networking event.

Carri Cunliffe, GameHorizon Director said  “UKIE and GameHorizon are partnering on this event to ensure we are promoting the positives in the UK games industry and helping the industry to come together to celebrate some of their big successes.  We look forward to working closer with UKIE in the future”

Ian Livingstone OBE will be hosting the Best of British event which will bring together the games industry for an evening of entertainment, business networking and the chance to see off 2010 with a bang.

The GameHorizon project is part financed by the European Union’s ERDF Competitiveness Programme 2007-13, securing £984,826 ERDF investment through regional development agency One NorthEast. The ERDF programme is bringing over £250m into the North East to support innovation, enterprise and business support across the region.
