Discuss, pay and play!

Orange County, CA (PR) – June 29, 2010 Not simply satisfied with being just a video gaming auction site, GameGavel.com is continuing to add other community building features to its suite of video gaming offerings. Founder Mike Kennedy explains, “It’s always been about building a unique gaming destination, something different than all the other gaming news and blog sites currently over-populating the net. We are working to create an all-inclusive social gaming destination all revolving around an auction site dedicated to nothing but video games. Members can read about the latest games, discuss them in the forums and then purchase them, all in the same environment.”

And building a unique gaming destination, they are. Where else can you buy and sell video gaming items as well as catch up on the latest industry news and launch game reviews. All while interacting with a large growing community comprised of other gamers. There is nothing like it anywhere. And Mike is hoping gaming advertisers take note of GameGavel. He adds, “GameGavel offers a very interesting advertising opportunity for software and hardware manufacturers. Their products can be reviewed by our team as well as advertised, bought and sold in the GameGavel auction environment. No other gaming website can offer such targeted results from product awareness straight through to purchase.”

Mike continues, “It is my plan to assemble a team of the best gaming writers. A team that can write about all facets of gaming from the dawn of the industry right through the modern era of gaming we now find ourselves in. A team of writers that people will want to follow and count on for not only the latest gaming news and latest game reviews but also for their whimsical and opinionated original blogs and stories.”

To date, GameGavel has grown to nearly 5,000 members, sees over 50,000 unique visitors each month and has sold over $200,000 in merchandise. Current “site modules” include, gaming auctions, community forums, a streaming gaming radio station, podcasts, flash game arcade and now original blogs.
