Game Initiative announces dates for 2005 Austin conferences

Conference organising body The Game Initative has announced dates for next year's Austin Game Conference, following on from the success of this year's event in September where over 1,400 attended, up from 850 the previous year.

The AGC 2005 event will take place on October 27th and 28th in Austin, Texas, with the Mobile Game Conference running concurrently with the event. Once again, the conference will focus on networked game development, including massively multiplayer titles, mobile games, and online PC and console games.

Meanwhile, the Women's Game Conference, an event focused specifically on women working in the games industry and on women as game consumers, will be run on October 26th and 27th 2005 - just prior to, and overlapping with the first day of, the Austin Game Conference event.
