Game Industry Vets Launch Rebel Monkey(TM) - A New York-Based Casual Game Development Studio

NEW YORK CITY, New York - February 5, 2007 - Casual game industry vets Margaret Wallace and Nicholas Fortugno today announced the launch of Rebel Monkey, a new casual game development studio with headquarters in New York City. The focus of Rebel Monkey is on creating the next generation of high quality casual games to entertain and entice audiences worldwide.

"Rebel Monkey came about as a meeting of like-minds - with a common goal of taking casual games to the next level," explains Margaret Wallace, Co-Founder & CEO of the new company. "Both Nicholas Fortugno and I have been involved in casual games since the beginning, so we are bringing a lot of experience to the table."

Prior to forming Rebel Monkey, Margaret Wallace was a Co-Founder and CEO of Skunk Studios in San Francisco - a leading developer of casual games. Nicholas Fortugno's design credits include "Diner Dash," "Plantasia," and the serious game, "Ayiti: The Cost of Life." Together, they plan to tap into the already-vibrant game development community of New York City to bring the next wave of casual game brands to the marketplace.
