G4 + E3 = 5 Days Of Blowout Coverage Of The Biggest Videogame Event In The World, As E3 Hits Los Angeles May 9-12

Network Goes Live to the L.A. Convention Center for Dramatically Extended Weeklong Coverage, Featuring Three Hours a Day of Live Programming Hosted by Attack of the Show's Kevin Pereira and X-Play's Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb

Los Angeles - April 10, 2006 - Combining the high stakes of the Super Bowl, the excitement of the Oscars and the mania of March Madness, E3-the premiere event in the videogame universe-hits Los Angeles May 9-12, and G4 will be in the thick of the action with three hours a day of live, up-to-the-minute coverage. The network's weeklong coverage begins with a special one-hour E3 Preview edition of "Attack of the Show," followed by four days of extensive live programming from the Los Angeles Convention Center. Attack of the Show E3 Preview airs Monday, May 8 at 7:00 PM ET/PT. Four three-hour E3 06 Live Attack of the Show Specials will air Tuesday through Friday, May 9-12, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM ET/PT.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), is the world's premiere trade event exclusively dedicated to showcasing interactive entertainment and educational software and related product. The worldwide annual focal point for the computer and video game industry, E3 draws tens of thousands of professionals to experience the future of interactive entertainment. The most influential people leading the most innovative companies in the business attend E3 to showcase and see groundbreaking new technologies and never-before-seen products for computers, video game consoles, handheld systems and the Internet.

G4's viewers look to the network for exclusive coverage, live demos of the brand-new games and cutting-edge technology, and answers to the burning questions surrounding the industry's biggest names: Will Nintendo Revolution truly be as revolutionary as gamers hope it will be? Do Microsoft's new games for the Xbox 360 live up to the excitement surrounding last year's release of the console itself? And what's the latest on Sony's PlayStation 3 - will there be further delays, or is it destined to dominate this holiday season?

"E3 is just the kind of full-throttle experience that G4 thrives on, and that's why we are significantly increasing our coverage this year, offering a deeper, richer E3 experience with weeklong coverage and three hours a day of live programming," says Neal Tiles, President of G4. "No one covers the videogame industry like G4 does: We've got knowledgeable, passionate gamers on both sides of the camera. E3 is the event of the year for us, and we are rising to the occasion by dramatically amping up our in-the-trenches coverage, putting viewers right in the middle of the convention floor."

The network's programming schedule begins on Monday, May 8, and lasts all week:

 • Monday, May 8: Attack of the Show E3 Preview

This special edition of Attack of the Show-G4's inside track to the newest tech, the hottest games, and the fastest-breaking news-is a one-hour behind-the-scenes look at what to expect from E3, including trends, predictions and previews of the latest hardware and games.
