Puzzle platformer now available for US PS3s.

Stop time and rearrange 81 levels in 10 worlds thanks to the PlayStation®Move motion controller or a DUALSHOCK®3 wireless controller.

FRANCE – 1 DECEMBER, 2010 – Hydravision Entertainment released today its super-challenging action and puzzle platformer Funky Lab Rat on PlayStation 3 system exclusively.  The game can be downloaded on the PlayStation®Store in the U.S. today for $9.99.

It’s not easy being a rat!

The star of Funky Lab Rat – a cuddly little rat named Diego who has super powers – must overcome many moving obstacles and challenges to escape from the dangerous lab where our furry friend is imprisoned.  Each of Funky Lab Rat’s 10 worlds is increasingly more difficult. Get through 81 challenges and set Diego free!

The player’s mission is to make it through the final lab gate by crossing over pits and overcoming obstacles! Using the PlayStation®Move motion controller or a DUALSHOCK®3 wireless controller you can freeze time, stop the action and even rewind to re-arrange and place the available items to facilitate your fast escape.  All the items must be carefully placed and synchronized for the escape to work.  If your synchronization doesn’t work, you can try again by rewinding time so you don’t have to re-start the level every time.

Thanks to its original and energizing gameplay players will manipulate time, space, and gravity!

What can you win if you escape?

Escaping each of the 81 rooms to final freedom requires more than running, jumping, organizing, and synchronizing items. There are additional challenges along the way to keep gameplay interesting and fun.

Collecting pills will help you to unlock new world with amazing challenges.  Each victory lets your rat collect pills and win gold, silver, or bronze medals depending on performance.  If you perform perfect runs, you win platinum rewards and trophies.

Funky Lab Rat will keep inquisitive and creative gamers busy for hours: up to eight hours to finish the game without having all the gold medals; up to 12 hours to get all the gold medals; and up to 15 hours to get perfect runs everywhere.  Are you up to the challenge?

More surprises await you if you join Diego, the Funky Rat on its way out! Challenges, quizzes and polls await you!

Funky Lab Rat is rated PEGI 3+, ESRB “E”, and USK 0.

The game will be available in English, Spanish, German, French and Italian at launch.
