Frank Cartwright Named Vice President Of Online Entertainment For GSN

(SANTA MONICA, CA) - Frank Cartwright has been named Vice President of Online Entertainment at GSN, a new position created to focus on the growth of GSN's online website GSN.com. Cartwright joins GSN from Global Gaming League, a Los Angeles based company, where he served as Vice President of Product Development and Engineering. The announcement was made today by John P. Roberts, Senior Vice President of Digital Media and Interactive Entertainment, GSN, to whom Cartwright reports.

"I am very pleased to be working with Frank," said Roberts. "We couldn't be more thrilled to have him onboard to help us take GSN.com to the next level."

Based in GSN's Santa Monica offices, Cartwright's primary focusing is on the network's emerging casual game site, of which he oversees product development, technology implementation and administration of GSN.com.

"There is great potential for synergy between the network's television and online offerings," said Cartwright. "I am excited to help foster the integration of all GSN resources to strengthen the online brand."

Prior to his work at Global Gaming League, Cartwright served as Vice President of Production for SkillJam Technologies. Cartwright played an instrumental role in the company's growth and globalization efforts. There, he handled all technical development and production, controlling over 70% of the company's resources. Cartwright has worked in the games business since 1995, leading projects for such companies as Disney Internet Group and Turner Interactive.

Cartwright resides with his wife, Pamela, in Marina Del Rey, CA.
