Football Managerä In League Winning Form

LONDON, UK - October 27th, 2005 - SEGA Europe Ltd and Sports Interactive are delighted to confirm that last Friday's UK launch of Football Manager^TM 2006 has netted retail sales of over 100,000 units during its first weekend of release according to Chart-Track retail estimates. Storming the PC chart at No.1, with an equally impressive No.2 placement in the All-Formats chart, Football Manager^TM 2006 is now the 2nd fastest-selling PC game of all time in the UK, according to Chart-Track (sales within a 7 day period).

As well as outselling last year's first version's first weekend Chart-Track total by over 40,000 units, Football Manager^TM 2006 bettered the sales of the entire Top 50 Full Price PC Entertainment chart combined, over the last week, despite only being on sale for 2 of the 7 days.
