Focus Multimedia signs sales and distribution agreement with THQ

Over 50 high quality games added to Focus Multimedia's growing range of chart-topping Windows PC CD-ROM titles

Focus Multimedia, one of the UK's leading budget software publishers, has acquired the exclusive sales and distribution rights to the impressive back catalogue of THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) Windows PC CD-ROM products in the UK.

The partnership means that Focus adds THQ's critically-acclaimed range of CD-ROM titles to a well established portfolio that already includes titles from Ubisoft, Britannica, LEGO, Oxford University Press and Scholastic.

The first phase of CD-ROM titles are expected to be reissued by Focus Multimedia at sub-£10 price points between now and Christmas 2005. These initial launch titles will be repackaged and incorporated into Focus' best-selling branded ranges: Revival (SRP £4.99), PC Fun Club (SRP £4.99) and Essential (SRP £9.99). Many more releases are planned over the next 2 years.
