New game system, “Touch & Pop” in addition to New Map and Costumes
GameKiss announced today that the in-house developed mobile game, ‘FlyGaga’ is scheduled for an update on a ‘Halloween Theme’ filled with new monsters as well as new costumes and map.
Since its first service launched through AppStore(iTunes) in last August 2010, the number of its accumulated downloads reached 500,000 which made itself to be a representative casual game anchoring GameKiss mobile game business.
‘FlyGaga’ with a concept to avoid obstacles while jumping on a trampoline, is a mobile game based on a simple controllability, which enables everyone to easily and simply play without a restriction upon time and location. The game is now scheduled for a massive update on a ‘Halloween Theme’ implementing the addition of new monsters, maps and costumes as well as a new playing feature of popping a balloon by touching it.
Especially with a new playing feature of “Touch & Pop”, popping a balloon by touching it, the feature is expected to garner two new effects, a sense of playing a whole new game and a fun factor with a progressive use of ‘touch screen’ of smart-phones.
‘FlyGaga’ has been improved as it was focused on the optimization of iOS4 (Operating Platform of iPhone) by resolving the cut-off effect during the initiation of the game, supporting multi-tasking and adding features continuously, which evidences on-going efforts for non-stopping improvement by the developer as a true professional in its industry.
Roman Lee, PM of GameKiss, noted, “Partial pay-service is a generalized revenue stream for on-line games, but such service is not a generally accepted revenue structure in mobile game arena. I believe ‘Halloween Theme’ would provide us a great opportunity to evaluate upon both marketability and profitability of the game.” He also added, “Based on the great review of the mobile game business from the users which we started out with an immense ambition, we are determined to introduce even better games with greater efforts. Furthermore, as we are in the process of developing a new protocol of mobile game, we will make the best efforts to introduce a new game in the first half of the next year.”
Users who purchased a GOLD version of ‘FlyGaga’ can update the game for free, while the users playing a free version are allowed to purchase ‘Halloween Theme’ at $0.99 under partial pay-service feature starting around 4 th week of October just in time for the Halloween.
