Burda:ic's MMORPG, currently in open beta, gets an update.

MUNICH, Germany – September 9, 2008 – Burda:ic, a publisher of online games worldwide, today announced a major gameplay and balancing update for the open beta of their free-to-play MMORPG, Florensia. The island of Chester has been rediscovered in the southern seas of the Hoomanil Ocean, and the inhabitants of its capital, Cherry Town, are acting a little strangely. Fortunately, this doesn’t stop them from having a number of new items and challenging quests for curious adventurers! Between the mysterious citizens and the 14 new monsters found in the neighboring Rainbow Highland, characters level 60 and above should find plenty to keep themselves occupied.

Along with the new island, a number of changes have been made to benefit characters of every level. These include increased loot drops for accessories, significant scroll and job-exclusive quest changes, and a complete balancing of monster levels across the game world.
