Flipbook website

Manchester-based animation studio behind F1 2010 ident shows off wares on new site.

Flipbook the CGI animation and Visual FX boutique, based in Manchester city centre, has launched a new website to promote its latest projects in a manner better befitting the visual creative company.

Andrew Lord, Managing Director of Flipbook said: “As we work with creative clients in video games, broadcast, film and advertising it was important for us to make the most of the great work the studio produces by displaying our portfolio in the most eye-catching way we possibly could. Due to the nature of our work and the fact that a lot of the artistic solutions we provide have to be compatible with the latest technological innovations, we wanted to also make sure that visitors to the site could access all video content quickly and on a variety of hardware, including iPhone & iPad.

The website showcases some of the video game projects the studio has worked on including the F1 2010 ident for Codemasters and imagery for Square Enix’s new game GunLoco, which the studio worked closely on with an.x agency in London.

Lord also revealed that they have a 90 second promotional trailer waiting to be released for a new game title due out in the New Year…. watch this space!
