FireFly Studios sign two more SDK deals with Lifemode Interactive

London, October 17th, 2005 - Top UK games developer FireFly Studios has signed two more SDK deals with Lifemode Interactive, to use their highly sophisticated facial animation tool: LifeStudio:HEAD.

FireFly Studios will be using Lifemode's unique innovative real-time facial animation package LIFESTUDIO:HEAD SDK in 2 new games, the titles yet to be announced. The new deals continue the successful cooperation between Lifemode Interactive and FireFly Studios for the UK market.

The first project FireFly Studios used LIFESTUDIO:HEAD technology was in their ground-breaking strategy game "Stronghold 2" published by 2K Games, a publishing label of Take2 Interactive, released in April 2005. Stronghold 2 sold very well over the summer months and regularly stayed in the UK PC charts. Fans of FireFly's Stronghold series were pleased with the realistic character facial animation and eagerly await news on anymore strategy games by the company.

The multi-platform SDK is a unique high-end software tool for creating innovative heads, and contains a comprehensive package of features and character libraries that supports Windows®, "PlayStation®2" and Xbox® platforms. LIFESTUDIO:HEAD also supports 3ds Max and Maya plug-ins. The technology allows game developers and 3D artists to create cutting edge sequences in games that combines automated lip-synch with nonlinear facial animation in real-time.

Lifemode also recently returned from a successful tour in the US as well as exhibiting at the Siggraph 2005 expo. "We enjoyed meeting many top Studios in California and were delighted with the response to our demonstrations", said Natalie Polikarpova, Sales Director for Lifemode Interactive.
