Final details confirmed for GI.biz Investment Summit at EGX

Wellcome Trust, Crowdfunder and Standfirst join Thursday's event

New names have been confirmed for the GamesIndustry.biz Investment Summit in association with Creative England, which will be taking place at Birmingham's NEC as part of EGX next Thursday.

Joining the Investment panel, as hosted by GamesIndustry.biz deputy editor Matthew Handrahan, will be the Wellcome Trust, which recently part funded Ninja Theory's Hellblade, Standfast Interactive, investors-in-games and regulars at the Investment Summit, and Crowdfunder, which helped fund the "Queen of Code" campaign with Creative England to get more women into the industry. Also on the panel are Caroline Norbury of Creative England and co-founder of Free Radical and Media Molecule, Chris Lee.

The GamesIndustry.biz Investment Summit also features an exclusive talk from Paul Durrant on an exciting new prototype fund for developers, Jas Sohal from Creative England discussing "2015/16 funding opportunities from Creative England and Microsoft", Natalie Griffith from PressSpace talking Kickstarter and crowdfunding campaigns, and Patrick Bradley from Station 12 with the best advice on making your games company investor-ready.

Alongside the speeches and presentations, there'll be an extensive networking lunch and plenty of opportunities for both formal and casual meetings with attendees such as Square Enix Collective, Nintendo of Europe, SCEE XDev, Pollen VC, Nyman Libson Paul, All 4 Games and UK Games Talent & Finance CIC.

There still a few tickets left, but they won't last long. Buy yours here.
