Fiesta Online

European English-language version of gamigo's MMO enters closed beta.

Hamburg September 11th 2008 -Leading European MMOG publisher gamigo AG is happy to announce the start of the Fiesta Online closed beta test for Europe. After the successful launch of the German version in July, now a brand-new English version for European players enters the testing period. Everyone who signs up at http://fiesta.gamigo.com/ has the chance to get hold of one of the limited beta slots. Those will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.

Adventures for young and old alike

From the very first second, Fiesta Online offers a wonderful gaming experience in a colourful, living fantasy world, beautiful cell-shaded characters and various enemies. Beyond that, a huge community waits to meet new players and approach big adventures with them. No matter if the player is looking for fame and wealth, the most powerful weapon of the country or just for new friends, in Fiesta he can achieve all these goals with his hero.

The in Asia and the US already very successful game is not only accessible for new players, but offers exciting challenges for veterans as well. The epic “Kingdom Quests” are a real highlight, in which groups of up to 15 players fight side by side to reach a common goal. Another specialty of the game is the mini house, which every player owns. In this little house players can recover from exhausting battles or use it as a merchant store. In the future, players will even be able to furnish the inside of the house.

Closed beta officially launched

To test the game with a bigger audience, players can now register at http://fiesta.gamigo.com for a slot in the beta period. Over time, more and more applicants will get unlocked to play. Participants in the test have no obligations, but helpful criticism and suggestions in the forums are welcome. After a few weeks, an open beta period will commence, that allows every player who signs up on the site to play right away.

gamigo has launched a German version of Fiesta Online in late July and already more than 60.000 registered users are playing on the servers. Additionally a French and Spanish edition of the game are already in development and will be published in the coming months.

“After the successful German launch, we are very excited to invite thousands of new European players to the exciting world of Fiesta Online”, says Elmar Kofler, Product Manager of Fiesta, “But this is only our first step to offer the game to a European audience. We listened to the consumer feedback and included their suggestions into this completely reworked translation.”
