FierceWireless Honors I-play as One of the "Fierce 15"

May 17, 2005 - I-play, the mobile games company, today announced that it has been selected as a FierceWireless' 'Fierce 15' company. This distinction honors I-play as one of the top 15 emerging wireless companies worldwide for 2005. FierceWireless, an internationally recognized email newsletter covering the wireless and mobile Internet market, evaluated more than 400 privately-held firms based on company vision, revenue potential, quality of deals, strength of technology, partnerships, and competitive market position.

"Mobile game publisher I-play has the partnerships, game titles, and funding to remake the mobile gaming experience," said Stephen Wellman, of FierceWireless. "I-play is among a small number of mobile game publishers with the connections, products, and money to thrive in this highly competitive market."

I-play has also been nominated a 2005 Red herring 100 Europe company and earlier this year also scooped the Tornado 100 Award for the 4th year running. "We are very excited about being chosen as a Fierce 15 company, and to be recognised as the true innovator amongst our peers. FierceWireless is recognised for its advanced understanding of wireless companies and the industry as a whole," said Brian Greasley, CEO of I-play. "Being selected as a member of the Fierce 15 is an honor that highlights I-play's potential to make a significant impact in the wireless market."

The Fierce 15 celebrates the spirit of being "fierce" - championing innovation and creativity, even in the face of intense competition. The list of Fierce 15 companies is available in today's issue of FierceWireless and on the FierceWireless Web site at http://www.fiercewireless.com.
