Fathammer Mobile Games To Sonera's New Mobile Portal

Fathammer expands into European Wireless Gaming Market

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Helsinki, Finland (September 20, 2005) - Fathammer, a leading publisher of advanced 3D mobile game technologies and games, and mobile operator TeliaSonera Oyj have announced their agreement to bring globally successful Fathammer 3D mobile games to Sonera's SurfPort mobile portal. The first six games, released in September, will be available to consumers through eDome gaming service of SurfPort. Sonera and Fathammer will also share in extensive co-marketing of the new games.

Sonera is the first European mobile operator to offer advanced 3D mobile games directly to its customer's mobile phones. Fathammer games are developed and powered by the company's own X-Forge® 3D game development system, which supports advanced features such as fully 3D graphics, physics simulation and responsive controls.

"Demand in the wireless gaming market is changing from simple, animated java-games to advanced 3D games with high quality graphics and excellent gameplay. A superior mobile gaming experience is now the driving force of market growth. Sonera is one of the pioneering operators who can offer their partners the most efficient game delivery and billing services. We are looking forward to this cooperation," says Matti Airas, CEO of Fathammer.

"Along with the development of new features in mobile devices, the wireless content and gaming market is expanding fast, and there is a growing demand for top quality 3D games. Fathammer games have been very successful on the most intense markets in Asia. We are very pleased to be the first mobile operator to deliver these games in Europe," says Merja Haverinen, Director of TeliaSonera Finland.

For Fathammer, the cooperation with Sonera means a stronger position in Europe. The company's main market has until now been in US and Asia, particularly in Korea, where Fathammer games are available through mobile content portals of major operators SKT and KTF.

The Fathammer games offered via eDome will include the award winning racing game Stuntcar Extreme®. Also available will be puzzle game Super Drop ManiaTM, shoot'em'up game AngelfishTM, sports game Hockey Rage 2005TM, arcade game StuntplaneTM and platform game Rainbow Jek. More games will be added as they become available.
