Farmerama

Bahamarama update launched.

·         Tropical new challenges await Farmerama players

·         Bigpoint launches biggest update in Farmerama history

Hamburg, November 24 th 2010 – Just in time to chase away the winter blues, Bigpoint ( www.bigpoint.com) presents the biggest – and hottest – game update since the launch of Farmerama:  Bahamarama, Farmerama’s tropical island retreat. With all-new flora and fauna and an independent experience-point system, the island farm will offer even more new challenges – in tried-and-true Farmerama ( www.farmerama.com) fashion.

A virtual vacation

In Bahamarama, players can work their way through 20 new levels, from simple “Plantain Picker” to experienced “Mango Marvel”. But it won’t be easy: Farming in tropical weather is for experienced players. The constant fight against weeds and flooded fields will be tougher in the warm, humid weather, but users will be able to enjoy new farming methods for sugar cane, pineapple or passion-fruit production and raise new animals such as anacondas, parrots and elephants.

Log enough flight time and fly away

Designed for experienced players, this update automatically unlocks starting at level 65. When the city’s airport opens at level 14, less experienced players can collect air miles and trade them in (100 at a time) for flight training. Once they’ve clocked 4,000 hours of flight time, they’ll be given their pilot’s license and be able to take off for Bahamarama.
