About Darkling Room: The development crew are based on the rugged coast of Cornwall, on England's west coast, an area that has inspired ghost stories from Wilkie Collins, M.R.James and Daphne Du Maurier. A perfect setting for constructing ghostly games. Many of the team have taken part in the chilling paranormal investigations conducted by 'This Haunted Land', a group of dedicated ghosthunters based in Looe, Cornwall. This immediate connection with actual ghosthunting has resulted in a team of game designers with unparalleled experience of real ghosthunting practice, and theory. This invaluable knowledge is being woven into the gameplay featured in "The Lost Crown". No other game features such realistic methods, tried and tested by ghosthunters across the globe.

"Experiencing real paranormal phenomena, as research for this game, has been amazing" says screenplay writer, Jonathan Boakes, "the experience has been both terrifying and uplifting, in equal measure. It's a pleasure to bring some of these real frights to gamers."
