Rapidly expanding UK PC games firm, Excalibur Publishing, has secured the rights to another of Russian publisher 1C's brand new titles. This time the deal which covers the UK and Scandinavia is for Space Rangers, a turn-based Space RPG / 3D real-time action game scheduled for April 2005.
Space Rangers will be published as a two-game product and will include the original Space Rangers title which sold in excess of 100,000 units in Russia and the former USSR. Commenting on the deal, Excalibur's managing director, Robert Stallibrass, offered, "Возвращать картинки только с сайта или домена. Расширенный поиск изображений!" which roughly translated means, "It's been a really busy year for Excalibur Publishing and we're delighted to add another quality game to our 2005 roster. At this rate, next year is going to be even busier than this year has been!"
