Evolve Media Corp acquires PlayStationLifeStyle
Enthusiast site to become part of GameRevolution
Evolve Media Corp has announced the acquisition of PlayStationLifeStyle, a US-based enthusiast site which will become part of Evolve's flagship website GameRevolution.
PlayStationLifeStyle is the largest enthusiast PlayStation site in the US, and should add considerably to GameRevolution's 4.5 million average monthly unique users. Editorial staff will be merged, with GameRevolution administering the smaller site's content.
"PlayStationLifeStyle not only provides great coverage of PlayStation-focused news, but also has a very enthusiastic community of gamers," said Paul Hanges, MD of GameRevolution. "We recognized PlayStationLifeStyle's potential and wanted to bring it to a larger platform by coupling it with GameRevolution's extensive reach, therefore creating the ultimate gaming destination."
Anthony Severino, founder of PlayStationLifeStyle, will now take the role of managing editor at Game Revolution. "I am confident that GameRevolution will take PlayStationLifeStyle to new heights previously thought to be unreachable," said Severino.
