Eurogamer.net launches video games rental service

Brighton, England, November 22, 2005: Eurogamer Network - the publisher of the UK's most popular consumer video games website, Eurogamer.net - today launches a brand new videogames rental service in conjunction with games rental specialist, SwapGame.

The service can be found at http://www.swapgame.com/eurogamer

Consumers can rent two games at a time and keep them for as long as they like for a mere £14.99 per month, or one game at a time for £9.99 per month. Games are delivered directly to customers' doorsteps, and when they are finished with the game, they can return it in the supplied pre-paid envelope and another selected game will be dispatched immediately. In order to offer even better value, gamers are able to enjoy a 10-day free trial for the service, which offers one of the broadest selections of classic and current video games anywhere in the UK.

Using Eurogamer's new service, UK-based gamers can now benefit from the following game rental features:

- Choose from over 1,500 titles for PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, PSP, Game Boy Advance and GameCube.

- Hold games for a limitless time.

- Enjoy free postage in both directions.

- No late fees. Cancel any time.

"We believe the new rental service, launched in collaboration with SwapGame, provides a great alternative approach to playing videogames and offers outstanding choice and value for money for gamers," said Eurogamer Network's Business Development Manager, Patrick Garratt. "We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with SwapGame."

"We are delighted to announce this new partnership with Eurogamer.net. We have long recognised the huge benefits to both sides of teaming up with a consumer videogames website and we look forward to bringing our specialist rental service to the mass gaming community.
