Eurogamer Expo

Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV to be playable.

Press Release

BRIGHTON, ENGLAND, 14th October 2008: Eurogamer.net and Capcom are proud to announce that Resident Evil 5, one of the most highly anticipated games of 2009, will debut for the first time in the UK at Eurogamer Expo.

Playable at the Expo on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Resident Evil 5 moves the survival horror series to Africa. Veteran zombie-hunter Chris Redfield is back, teaming up with new playable character Sheva Alomar for a revolutionary new co-op mode. With greater levels of realism and control, Resident Evil 5 is certain to bring new fans to the series.

Fans of Capcom's Street Fighter have also got plenty to look forward to. Street Fighter IV will now be playable at the Expo on Xbox 360, as well as on six arcade machines. Feeling a bit more old school? How about Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, also playable on Xbox Live Arcade.

Eurogamer Expo takes place at the Old Truman Brewery in London on October 28th and 29th, from 11am to 10pm each day. Tickets are now on sale and cost just £5 per day, with all proceeds after credit card processing fees going to UK videogames charity GamesAid. Visitors must be aged 15 or over to enter.

Tickets also admit visitors to the GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair, with 20 exhibitors attending including Lionhead, Crytek, Relentless Software, Realtime Worlds, Starbreeze, Ubisoft, SEGA Europe and Microsoft Game Studios.
