Nintendo's success with DS title Pokemon Ranger continues in Europe, with the sixth game in the popular franchise taking the number one spot in Spain and Germany.

Two Yu-Gi Oh! titles have entered the Italian top ten on the first week of release, in what is amounting to an otherwise quiet month for releases.

A number of titles that have proven popular since release last year are knocking about the top ten in Spain and Germany — DS games Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training and New Super Mario Bros. the most noticeable.

The German charts also shows strong loyalty to the PC market, with two versions of EA's Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars in the top ten, and two expansion packs for The Sims 2 also performing well.
