Razer to lend their name to the event, and also their gaming peripherals.
As the official sponsor of the ESL Intel Extreme Masters Season III, competitors will be gaming on an entire suite of Razer gaming peripherals at all global stops of this competition.
Razer will provide 100 sets of gaming gear for the seven month long competition. Participants can look forward to superior gaming on gaming mice like the Razer Lachesis and the Razer DeathAdder, gaming keyboards like the Razer Lycosa and the Razer Tarantula, gaming headsets like the Razer Piranha and the Razer Barracuda, as well as gaming mats like the Razer Goliathus and the Razer Destructor.
The competition begins on August 21, 2008, at Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany, and moves to other countries like USA, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Korea and China. Its last stop and the Global Finals will be held back in Germany in Hannover, during the annual trade show CeBIT from March 03 – 08, 2009.
Members of Team Razer, the global umbrella of e-sport teams Razer sponsors, will also be taking part in the ESL Intel Extreme Masters Season III, gunning for glory and gaming in their coveted Razer gaming gear.
This sponsorship, amongst others, is in line with Razer’s commitment to continue supporting the global e-sports community who has stood by the brand and the products with an intense devotion.
