Equal Mobile to create a branded WAP portal for mobile game developers miniWORLDGAMES

Mobile game developers for MTV Dirty Sanchez and Ian Botham StickCricket to sell direct to end users via “off-portal” WAP site

London - Sept 22, 2005 - Equal Mobile have signed a deal to create a branded WAP portal for the mobile games development company miniWORLDGAMES.

The deal will enable miniWORLDGAMES to drive users from their popular internet games site JoyJam.com to a branded JoyJam "off-portal" WAP site, where users will be able to browse and buy a selection of miniWORLDGAMES products.

An incentive for users to visit the WAP site will be free cellphone wallpaper, based on miniWORLDGAMES characters.

miniWORLDGAMES mobile games include Ian Botham's StickCricket and MTV Dirty Sanchez.

Ian Botham's StickCricket is a mobile phone version of the world's no.1 online cricket game, fronted by none other than the biggest name in world cricket, Ashes hero Ian Botham.

MTV Dirty Sanchez is a skateboarding mobile game based on the international hit MTV series with 168 million viewers, Dirty Sanchez.

Gaming Site JoyJam.com is a community based portal providing innovative new ways to play online, with customised 'minipals' and players designing how the site itself develops. miniWORLDGAMES will extend this concept to the mobile internet, via the branded WAP portal to be developed by Equal Mobile.

Daniel Feane, Equal Mobile's CEO, said "The miniWORLDGAMES deal is interesting, as they have a strong roster of mobile games, plus an enthusiastic internet following for their free pc games, and are looking for a way to combine these two strengths. We finding more and more brands and mobile content developers are looking for ways to sell direct to end users, via off-portal WAP sites."

Equal Mobile's focus is creating branded mobile internet portals. They have developed a web based content management and billing system that creates cellphone internet sites in WAP. miniWORLDGAMES will be able to bill globally via Equal Mobile's carrier billing, premium sms and credit card billing systems.

Jan Maarten Heuff, miniWORLDGAMES's CEO, said "miniWORLDGAMES are very excited to be working with Equal Mobile. Their solution allows us to directly connect with the global mobile games market. However, it's the ease of use and flexibility of the system that we feel is going to deliver the best results for our audience."
