VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Feb. 9, 2009 - Hothead Games has been announced as part of Ready to Rocket's annual "Emerging Rockets" list for 2009. The list, organized by the Vancouver-based management consulting firm Rocket Builders, profiles technology companies with strong potential for investment and market breakthroughs in the coming year but are a few years away from their maximum potential growth. Hothead Games was chosen as one of the top companies representing the New Media category.
Each year, Rocket Builders identifies 25 private companies that are best positioned to capitalize on the trends for growth in the information technology sector. Its selection methodology has been an accurate predictor of growth, with Ready to Rocket companies exceeding the industry growth rate. This is the second year in a row that Hothead Games has been selected for acknowledgment in its "Emerging Rockets" list.
