eGames Puts Digital Spin on Rubik's Cube

PC Version of the "World's Best Selling Game" Slated for Fall Release

LANGHORNE, Pa., June 11, 2007 - Casual games developer and publisher eGames, Inc. (Pink Sheets: EGAM.PK), announced today a license agreement to create a PC game based on Rubik's Cube®. The agreement with Seven Towns, Ltd., licensors of Rubik's Cube, the "world's best-selling game," allows for worldwide distribution of the puzzle game at retail. The deal was brokered by The Sharpe Company, Seven Towns' licensing agency in North America.

"We are very pleased to forge a partnership with Seven Towns to create a Rubik's Cube PC game," said eGames Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Rich Siporin. "In many ways, Rubik's Cube is the original casual game, and we are confident that a casual PC title that stays true to the color-matching, cube-twisting fun of Rubik's Cube will strongly resonate with our casual game customers."

"We are thrilled to be partnering with eGames," said David Hedley Jones of Seven Towns Ltd. "Our goal is to find licensing partners who will capitalize on the popularity of Rubik's Cube and we believe eGames has the vision to successfully take the brand into the PC arena."

"We believe the Rubik's Cube property will enjoy the same success on PCs and online as our first internally developed titles, Burger Island and our recently released contemporary version of Defender of the Crown®. Since its release three weeks ago, Burger Island has maintained its momentum as a leading online selling game," said Siporin.

The game's release will overlap with the release of a new electronic version of the Rubik's Cube, called Rubik's Revolution, expected to be a dominant item for the 2007 holiday season. First released in 1980, the original Rubik's Cube puzzle has sold over 350 million units worldwide to date.
