Eelusion raises $1.7m in 3 weeks

Berlin studio's seed funding campaign will build proprietary technology investment

Eelusion, a German start up with an eye on "geosocial gaming," has raised $1.7 million in seed funding in just three weeks.

"Behind Eelusion are some creative minds with a wide range of skills, experience and a high degree of motivation," said co-founder Jürgen Lange, who created the company with Guillaume Vaslin and Stephan Schoenen.

"The creative energy of the two is second to none in terms of driving the enormous market potential of Eelusion. Together with our team, we will do everything in our power to show mobile users new opportunities that are fun and that enrich their digital lives."

The company plans to spend the money on it's first title, an iOS game called Eevoo, and on building its proprietary technology.
