The UK's biggest games trade show, ECTS, has opened its doors at Earls Court this morning as part of London Games Week, boasting one of the most comprehensive line-ups of key exhibitors in years.

The trade-only show features presences from most of the largest publishers in the industry, including Electronic Arts, Atari, Ubi Soft, Vivendi, Konami, Capcom and Codemasters - some returning to the show floor after several years away from the event.

Meanwhile Nintendo is showing off forthcoming GameCube and GBA software in a giant truck outside the Earls Court venue, while Sony is preparing to open the PlayStation Experience public event in the other half of Earls Court tomorrow morning.

ECTS isn't the only string to London Games Week's bow, however; the European Game Developers Conference is currently in session upstairs in Earls Court, and following Mobile Day yesterday is launching into a series of talks and panels which will continue through until tomorrow evening.
