Early bird deadline extended for Hollywood and Games Summit

The CMP Game Group and The Hollywood Reporter, organisers of the Hollywood & Games Summit, have announced that the deadline for early bird registration for the event has been extended.

Anyone planning to attend the event now has until Friday, June 2nd to register for USD 550 - a saving of USD 100 off the regular advance booking rate, and USD 200 on the door price.

The Hollywood & Games Summit is designed to address the issues arising as a result of increased collaboration between the film and interactive entertainment industries. Movie director Paul WS Anderson, whose credits include the big screen versions of Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil and the forthcoming Castlevania film, will deliver a keynote speech at the event.

Other confirmed attendees include executives from 20th Century Fox, Marvel Studios and Treyarch, plus EA's Neil Young, Greg Canessa of Microsoft and Dave Perry, the founder of Shiny Entertainment.

The summit will be held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on June 27th - more information is available from the official event website.
