EA to launch FIFA 2004 on N-Gage for Christmas

Electronic Arts has announced its second title for Nokia's N-Gage game deck - and answering the prayers of some European Nokia executives, it's a version of FIFA 2004 for the console.

The game, which is due out in time for the Christmas market, is apparently set to sport "amazing 3D stadium graphics", and promises to utilise the unique functions of the N-Gage by offering head to head Bluetooth multiplayer.

No official release date for the game has been announced as yet, but this certainly lends much-needed credibility to the N-Gage in Europe this Christmas. FIFA is a vitally important brand for the European market, and Nokia will be hoping that its availability on the game deck will drive acceptance of the platform in the mainstream.
