EA prepares new Harry Potter game for mobile

Joint deal with Warner Bros.

Electronic Arts will be publishing the mobile game of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix this summer.

Under a new deal with Warner Bros. the companies will also be offering content such as ringtones, wall paper and voicetones to consumers.

"We're thrilled to deliver Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for mobile," said Travis Boatman, VP of worldwide studios at EA.

"Our teams worked diligently to create a visually rich, immersive mobile game that is faithful to the Harry Potter universe. We believe our consumers will love taking the Potter experience with them wherever they go."

The game has been developed at EA's Mobile studio in the UK and will be available to buy on June 15 in Europe and June 26 in North America.

"We are excited to work with EA Mobile to give fans worldwide a truly compelling and robust suite of mobile content," offered Maria Seidman, VP of sales development at Warner Bros.
