EA names Sam Ebelthite as UK and Ireland boss

Former head Shaun Campbell takes new unspecified role

EA has named Samantha Ebelthite as its new UK and Ireland Country Manager.

Ebelthite takes the role following an 18-month stint as UK and Ireland head of sales. She'd previously held numerous roles at pharmaceutical giant GSK.

Former UK and Ireland chief Shaun Campbell will move into a new role within the company's European HQ, although EA didn't have any further details. Campbell has been part of the EA team for 15 years, and has held numerous roles, including head of the Nordics region.

In 2017, EA significantly cut its dedicated UK team and bolstered its Geneva HQ instead.
