EA AND VODAFONE ANNOUNCE MOBILE GAMING PARTNERSHIP

Popular EA Titles to become available on Vodafone live!

6 October, 2005 - Electronic Arts, the world's leading interactive entertainment software company, and Vodafone, the world's largest mobile community, today announced a mobile gaming agreement to bring EA's leading game franchises to Vodafone live! mobile phone customers throughout Europe, Egypt, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

The line up of mobile games for Vodafone live! customers to download will include popular EA titles starting with EA SPORTSTM FIFA 06 Mobile this Autumn, which will be jointly promoted by Vodafone and EA. Other games, including The SimsTM 2 and Need for SpeedTM Most Wanted will rapidly follow, both created specifically for the mobile platform. Electronic Arts will launch between 15-20 mobile games in Europe by the end of 2006.

Through the partnership, Vodafone's vast global customer base will be able to download games for compelling gaming experiences while on the move, bringing together Vodafone's services and audience reach with the advanced graphics and quality game play from EA. The service will be available to Vodafone live! customers for downloading in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Slovenia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and the UK.
