DX Studio

£1,000 and a Pro licence on offer to creator of best demo.

for Immediate Release

Date: 1st October 2008

In line with the recent release of DX Studio Version 3, software developers Worldweaver Ltd have just launched a competition for the best game demo made using the DX Studio platform. With a deadline of midnight (GMT) 20th December it only gives teams 80 days to get from scratch to a complete game.

“This is the first time we have offered a cash prize for any of our competitions. We have no idea what sort of games will be submitted as DX Studio is not tied into any particular style” said founder Chris Sterling.

The prize for 1st place will be £1,000 cash, a Commercial Pro DX Studio license (worth £375) and a limited edition DX Studio Polo Shirt and USB key. Runners up will receive a Non-commercial Pro DX Studio license, Polo Shirt and USB key. Winners will be announced on 22nd December and the best games will be made available to play on the DX Studio website.

Full details of the competition can be found at www.dxstudio.com.
