DragonFable

Browser-based RPG launches "reality show parody".

LAND O’LAKES, FLORIDA – November 16, 2010 –  Artix Entertainment, an indie game development studio with free  browser-based RPGs , announced today “Falconreach Idle,”  single-player RPG DragonFable's first ever reality show parody.  Over 32 million DragonFable players – and those players who sign up before November 19 th – are invited to join us in a creative and fun parody of popular reality TV and talent shows.

Well known voice actor George Lowe stars alongside some of DragonFable's most popular and craziest characters.  The DragonFable team based the show’s name on the game’s central town Falconreach, and came up with “Falconreach's Got Talent” and “Falconreach Idol,” and then decided on “Falconreach Idle.” It will be one of the zaniest events we've done to date!

For the first time, characters in the event have recorded themselves talking and their voices will speak their balloon conversations in cutscenes which, until now, have been silently “read only.”

Players can be contestants in the event via www.dragonfable.com starting at 6:00 PM East Coast Time on November 19 th.  Showcase your battle skills by defeating a round of opponents and, at the end, all players will mount their dragons and will have a Titan Dragon fight against an enraged and oversized DragonFable version of the George Lowe-viathon!  Winning players celebrate their victories with prizes including a cache of Light-based weaponry (sword, daggers, and staff) and a “You’re a Star” helm and cape.

The three judges for the event are wild magician-smith Cysero, Falconreach's Innkeeper Serenity, and George Lowe as himself.  Lim, a crazy science-smith, will emcee.

Join the excitement, test your skills, and maybe win some fun prizes.  Popcorn not included.
