Distinctive signs Montes as new exec

Distinctive Developments has signed Juan Montes as a non-executive director of the company.

Montes, who has held positions at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, Jamdat and Motorola, will help the developer expand further into global markets.

"The mobile entertainment market has always moved very rapidly," said Nigel Little, MD of Distinctive Developments. "This pace is increasing with new technologies, devices, business models and opportunities emerging on an almost weekly basis."

"Juan is one of the few people within the industry who grasps the enormous potential of the market as a whole and can see where it's all heading."

Distinctive Developments has previously worked on titles such as FIFA Football, Michael Vaughan Cricket and Madagascar.

"Distinctive has already established an excellent reputation for the creativity and quality of their titles, as well as their understanding of what works, what is possible and what is fun on a mobile phone," added Montes.
