Staten Island , NY , December 13 th, 2010 – Matrix Games ( www.matrixgames.com) and Code Force ( www.codeforce.co.nz) are excited to release a pack of a dozen screenshots showing off their incoming  Distant Worlds  expansion,  Distant Worlds – Return of the Shakturi. The  new screenshots get into some intense space combat as they show off some new tech and weapons, including the awesome planet-destroying power of a behemoth Shakturi ship!

All this coupled with new Empire Policies to fine tune the auto-management of your empire, new galaxy shapes, and extended modding support make  Return of the Shakturi an essential add-on to the vast, living galaxy of Distant Worlds!

Please note:  Distant Worlds – Return of the Shakturi REQUIRES ownership of the original full Distant Worlds game and is expected to release before Christmas, 2010.
