Digital Jesters secures US distribution deal

UK publisher Digital Jesters has signed an agreement with Take-Two Interactive Software to distribute PC games in North America.

The Hertfordshire-based company was formed in September 2003 by ex-members of CDV and has since published more than 12 titles in the UK and parts of Europe. The new agreement will see Digital Jesters publishing games in the US for the first time.

"We are extremely pleased to be working with Take-Two in broadening our reach to PC gamers in North America, especially the United States," said Terry Malham, Digital Jesters' co-founder and commercial director.

"Take-Two's distribution capabilities mesh well with our company's mantra which is publishing innovative, original titles which appeal to a broad range of gamers."

Digital Jesters' newest European titles include Trackmania Sunrise, out today, and Freedom Force VS. The Third Reich, which will go on sale next Friday. They are also planning to release Bet On Soldier and Chaos League: Sudden Death in May and June respectively.
