DICE Summit boasts additional keynote speakers

The Academy of Interactive Arts, organisers of the 2006 DICE (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit, have announced the addition of several new industry execs to its list of keynote speakers.

The Academy of Interactive Arts, organisers of the 2006 DICE (Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) Summit, have announced the addition of several new industry execs to its list of keynote speakers.

The unique, single-track event is scheduled to run over two days from the 9th-10th February 2006 at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Nevada. Attendees will be invited to enjoy a golf tournament and celebrity poker tournament at specially discounted rates on the 8th February.

The DICE Summit has been specifically designed as a focal point for developers and publishers to address the changing issues and demands of creative design in the videogames industry. The two-day seminar schedule includes keynotes from renowned industry figures, including Peter Molyneux, Will Wright and God of War game director, David Jaffe.

New additions to the keynote schedule include speeches from Valve Software's founder and CEO, Gabe Newell, who will discuss the company's rapidly expanding Steam digital distribution service.

Nintendo of America's VP of sales and marketing, Reggie Fils-Aime will be discussing ways to expand the market for interactive entertainment, and will undoubtedly reveal further details of Nintendo's unique approach to the next-generation hardware transition.
