DICE keynote panel plans unveiled

Mike Morhaime, Bruce Shelley, Mark Cerny, Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk to share the stage

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences has unveiled its plans for a keynote panel session, featuring those entered into its Hall of Fame in the last four years.

The star-studded line-up will comprise Blizzard's Mike Morhaime, president, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment and Hall of Fame entrant in 2008 alongside the following year's nomination - RTS legend Bruce Shelley, currently a consultant at Zynga but responsible for key contributions on a number of key franchises in the past including Age of Empires.

They'll both be joined by last year's entrant, Mark Cerny - currently president of Cerny Games and another leading light in the industry's last three decades - while the two founders of BioWare, Dr Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk will complete the line-up.

"We're looking forward to putting these five videogame legends on stage to open the tenth iteration of the DICE Summit," said Martin Rae, president of the AIAS. "It's the first time the Academy has endeavoured to create a presentation of this kind.

"These men have individually put deep marks and shaped the industry in very different ways - hearing their thoughts on the future of this industry will exemplify the best aspects of the Summit and we're confident that our attendees anticipate this dialogue as much as we do."

The panel will be moderated by New York Times journalist Seth Schiesel. More information and registration details are available on the Summit's official website.
