Develop in Brighton 2011
Game devs wanted for industry event.
Tandem Events announced today that the call for Speaker Submissions is now open for the Develop in Brighton Conference which will take place from 19 – 21 July 2011.
Now in its sixth year, the Develop in Brighton Conference has established itself as Europe’s leading event for the game development community – with more than 80 quality sessions given by international development experts and around 1300 developers getting together to improve their skills, learn from each other and network.
The conference will open again with the extremely well received Evolve on Tuesday 19 July which focuses on all that is new or emerging in game development - new platforms, new technologies and new markets. The learning will continue on the Wednesday and Thursday with the Develop Conference tackling the issues, tools, tricks and techniques of game development and offering practical advice and solutions for today’s developers.
“ One of the things that really sets Develop in Brighton apart is the range of topics that are covered and their relevance to creating games for the here and now. It's really important that developers can help shape the conference and by submitting a talk and sharing their experiences, they can do just that,” commented Andy Lane, managing director of Tandem Events.
Delegates can submit their proposals for conference sessions via the online form at: www.developconference.com. The submissions deadline is 1 April 2011.
Speakers at the 2010 conference included Louis Castle, Tim Schafer, Dr Greg Zeschuk, Peter Molyneux and Ed Vaizey MP.
