DeNA ARPU 30 times higher than Facebook

New Ngmoco owner brings in $336m for Q3

Japanese social and mobile giant DeNA has revealed third-quarter revenues of $336 million, and forecasts $1.25 billion for fiscal 2010.

Q3 operating income is up 342 per cent from the same period last year, totally $168.7 million.

DeNA 's major business is its microtransaction-fuelled Mobage Town phone game/social network, but last month it acquired iOS developer Ngmoco for $403 million in a bid to become "the world's number one mobile gaming platform."

The company claimed in its earning call that average revenue per user for Mobage Town is 30 times that of Facebook, and 15 times what Zynga pulls in for its titles.

DeNA hopes to replicate some of this success in the US and Europe.
